I used so many different devices to keep the pace of this video as compelling as Liz Stokoe’s research.  I wanted to put humans front and centre (thanks to colleagues for lending their likeness) to visually highlight the human behaviours that underpin conversation analysis. I used a lot of visual analogy to break down the science in the first half, and a lot of real-life action as the narrative evolves to look at whether AI is capable of emulating human behaviours in high-stake situations.
