As Creative Lead on LSE’s AI, Tech & Society series, I designed and delivered a multi-platform strategy to make complex ideas accessible and engaging. The challenge was to position social science as essential in an AI conversation dominated by hard sciences and saturated media coverage.
I led creative direction across 10 episodes and a trailer, shaping two content formats: horizontal, story-driven videos for YouTube and LinkedIn, and vertical, fast-paced edits for TikTok and Instagram. Each was crafted for retention and engagement, using playful text, animated overlays, and a conversational tone.
Beyond production, I worked collaboratively across the institution on design, SEO, website publishing, partnerships, and paid promotion to align with LSE’s wider research dissemination goals.
Collaboration was key. I prioritised an environment that balanced creative freedom with a clear strategic framework, giving each producer ownership of processes that played to their strengths. This approach paid off: the series is LSE’s most successful to date, surpassing targets for views, retention, and engagement. You can watch it here.
